The film finds aging barbarian Cohen (seen here in a great poster by Georgina Gibson at Deviant Art) planning to prove himself by defeating a troll in single combat. With his talking horse he heads for a troll bridge, but in a world where the undead want equal rights and the creatures of legend no longer fit in, things don't quite go according to plan (not that they ever do in Discworld).No word yet on when post production ends and the film sees it's release but with the blessing of (and some extra dialogue by) Terry Pratchett himself (and his instruction to not mess it up) this should be a faithful and funny adaptation of his short story and with some new trailers coming very soon hopes are high for a release later this year.
Made by fans, albeit professional ones, this really is a work of love for director Daniel Knight and for all those involved who used all the money invested in the project to make the film, and continue to do so while it is in production (so if you fancy helping financially head over to their kickstart page where you can also get goodies of your choice as a thank you from the team).
